In Focus: CONTENT.ANIMATION
Thinking about trying out the CONTENT.ANIMATION activity? Here’s a review that David Lamb made of three sites that can help:
http://www.xtranormal.com: Cool site that someone can create 3D animated videos from the text and audio with characters from the site. The negative part of the site is most of the functions someone needs to create videos is not free. The site mentions the membership for educators is $10.
http://goanimate.com: The good thing about the site is that you’re able to create up to 2 minutes videos for free. With this site you add text to the featured backgrounds and add music to create videos. The bad thing is the price for a student for a membership is $149.
https://animoto.com : You can use photos, video clips, text, and music to create videos. This site makes great slide shows. The bad thing is the site only offers 30 second videos for free. The membership for a year starts off at $30.
