African safari

Hey guys!

Just recently, I had to babysit my little nieces and nephews and while doing so, we all watched the Lion King, which brought back so much childhood memories. Thus, I want to take a break from Europe and focus on Africa, especially its desert, safari, and rainforest. We have been looking at different aspects of the cities so now let’s explore nature!

I have always found the African safari so beautiful and captivating. Looking at some of its pictures makes me feel so relaxed and look at nature in a different perspective. Hopefully, I will get to travel to this place one day.

Castles

Hey Guys!

How many of you guys are great fans of Disney movies? I know that I was utterly obsessed with princess movies when I was a child, especially Beauty & the Best and Cinderella. My favorite part of these fairy tales is the castles! I found the structure of the castles so strikingly stunning and captivating that I practically beg my parents if we can all move there (I was like 6 ok ha!).

The following are some of Europe’s top castles:

Bojnice Castle in Slovakia: One of my all-time favorite castles, the Bojnice completely took my breath away when I read about in one of my childhood books about the different castles in the world. Of all the castles, I found this one most resembling to those found in Disney movies.

Windsor Castle in England: Another renowned castle in England.

New Swan Stone Castle: Surrounding by fog and the snowy mountains, the castle appears very eerie and mysterious!

Hunyad Castle in Romania: This magnificent structure was built in the 14th Century in Gothic style!

I have found a great website about the Top 25 Castles in Europe! Check it out: http://www.offtoeurope.com/europes-top-25-castles/

My destination after visiting Paris will be Switzerland. I haven’t exactly planned out for this Swiss trip yet, and honestly, I don’t know anything about the country except for that it’s renowned for its Swiss cheese and chocolates! However, I did make a list….

1. Being such as huge fan of Sherlock Holmes, I definitely want to check out the Reichenbach Falls!

2. Zurich. Being the largest city in the country, Zurich seems like a very comfortable and enjoyable place to visit. German is the official language of that city so hopefully, I will be able to learn a few German phrases before I go there!

Paris

Hey guys!

From now on, we will look at some of the amazing sites in Europe! Some of you may not know this, but I will be touring in Europe this summer for three weeks! So while using this blog to plan for my Europe trip, I also hope you guys would find my research informative in case you may want to visit there someday!

So my first destination is Paris, France. Even with the limited time that I will be staying there (2-3 days), I still want to learn the culture and explore the city as much as possible!

  1. Visit the Eiffel Tower @ nighttime. (Obviously!)

If you visit France, the first MUST-stop has to be at the tower- one of the most recognizable and prominent structures of the world.

Klout versus Kred

Klout and Kred are two companies that specialized in measuring a person’s social influence online. Using the data that they gathered from social media sites, such as Twitter and Facebook, they assign a particular score to users; the higher the score, the more social influence that person has online.

After using both Klout and Kred, I prefer using Kred more: First, Kred is more transparent than Klout. Kred allows its users to know exactly how their score was calculated based on what factor. Second, Kred seems more accurate because their score ranges from 1-1000 where Klout ranges their score only from 1-100. Third, Kred measures influence and outreach level separately. Influence measures the frequency of people’s online involvement. Outreach level measures online interaction with others. Based on my conclusion, I found Kred to be more useful.

Cambodia: Angkor

Explore Angkor

Angkor Wat – “City Temple” – Considered the most magnificent and largest of all the temples in Angkor. Also, it’s currently the largest religious monument in the World. It  will definitely be my first destination if I go to Cambodia.
